My baby is ok... Current mood: bouncy
...And by my baby, I mean my car! It's ready to be picked up. Yai. So I will get it back before I leave. Poker night is still on. Mike, me, Vero, my bro, David (who will probably not play), and other people I dunno yet.
Mike has an AWESOME apartment, and THAT BOY CAN COOK! Good thing I don't live in Austin, I'd be over there all the time. hehe. He has a HUGE plasma tv and even his monitor is ginormous. lol. No Freudian references, please. Lol. Shhh. for real.
Gotta finish my errands!

Grrrrr... Current mood: aggravated
Ok, so I got my set up here in Houston, my computer is all set up and thank goodness its on a battery backup surge protector because EVERYTIME it rains, the power goes in and out, the wind can blow and the lights will go out! It's stupid. So I'll be online talking to people or doing something and I have to make a mad dash to shut down... so if I'm talking to you, please don't feel bad that I have to go...most of you know from being here that it really does happen. Grrr. Dang Houston, or at least this neighborhood. Man I hope when I get back from Chicago its not raining this much!! I also hope that wherever I move to in a few months doesn't have the same power problems and also has less flooding issues!

Ranking... Current mood: chipper
I didn't know they ranked you at graduation like they did in HS. I ranked in the top 5% of my class -- 29 out of about 515. Pretty cool.
Oh and thanks to my friend, Paula, I have decided to no longer date guys that do not or will not have a degree. Better to have someone on my level. I also think its bad to date guys younger than 21. That's just wayyyyy too young. Total waste of time.
So I went to a wedding today, and of course I cried. I only cry at my friends' weddings though... or family members younger than me. Lol. It was cool though I got to hang with my girls from accounting classes. Good times. When it came time to catch the bouquet, me and Laura did everything in our power not to catch it. haha. Yeah, I don't think I'm ready for that yet, haven't even found the guy! No rush. If its meant to be, I'll find it.
| Accidents suck... Current mood: discontent

People can be real jerks, and I hate driving in the rain. It's also not cool when people flee the scene of an accident, but what are you gonna do... just wish my deductible was lower. Last weekend was awesome, but this week SUCKED! I drop the car off Monday to get fixed, but it won't be ready until I get back from Chicago, so if I drive, I have to use the Mercedes, but gas is so expensive for that car, I don't think I'm going too many places before I leave.
There's a wedding today in Hville, so I'm driving up for that, but I won't be able to get them a wedding present until after I get paid.
Can't wait to start working... and start getting paid!

| ONE HAPPY GRADUATE -- Mandie Sanchez, graduating with a degree in accounting, looks for someone to hug after she received her diploma Saturday during commencement exercises at Johnson Coliseum. Guest speaker Jane Monday spoke of ways Gen. Sam Houston's life can inspire graduates as they leave school. Richard Nira/The Huntsville Item |
This is the front page of the paper for Huntsville, TX on August 7, 2005. Yep, I feel so important.
| I'm not trippin... Current mood: happy
Yai I graduated today! I got "'er dun". Lol. I made it across the stage without tripping so I was very pleased. I also was one of the ones with the most cords and stuff. Going to party tonight and drive to Houston tomorrow for the BBQ.
